Gaddha («قدّها») is a trivia game for families and friends, operated by Zaid Shalbak ("we"). This page explains what we store, why, and how you can delete it. In short: we keep as little as possible, we never sell your data, and there are no ads or trackers.

Without an account

You can play without an account. The game then keeps your game state and the questions you have seen only on your device (browser storage); none of it reaches us.

With an account

• Email and password to sign in. Passwords are stored hashed; we cannot read them.
• Your name, family or group name, and chosen colour, shown in the game.
• Game history: for each finished night, the date, both team names and scores, the winner, and the categories played. This appears on your account page.

«قدّنا؟» family secrets

When you create a «قدّنا؟» link, each person who opens it writes their name, the team they will play on, a question, an answer, and an optional hint and story. These are stored so they can appear during your game night, and only the link's creator can see them. Links expire after 60 days, after which the secrets are deleted. The creator can delete any secret at any time. Please don't include sensitive information.

Drawing and host phone

Drawings and host-phone commands are relayed live between devices during play and are not stored.

Payments

Payments, when available, are processed by Paddle, our online reseller and Merchant of Record for all orders. Paddle collects and handles your payment details under its own privacy policy; we never see your card number. We only receive confirmation of what you bought.

Service providers

• Supabase: database and sign-in.
• Vercel: website hosting.
• Google Fonts and jsDelivr: fonts and code libraries. As with any website, they receive your IP address when the page loads.
• Wikimedia Commons: some question images.

These providers may process data outside Palestine.

Deleting your data

You can delete your account from the account page in one tap; this also deletes your game history. To request a copy or correction of your data, email gaddhaps@gmail.com.

Children

Children are welcome to play as part of a family night, but accounts must belong to an adult (18 or over), who is responsible for the game.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above, and tell you in the game if the change is significant.
